So I wanna talk a little bit about Keith’s personal growth as a leader and how grounded he is this season, because I absolutely love it and how it shows how his recovery from personal trauma through the development of a strong relationship with his mother helped him mature in ways that he might not have been able to achieve without her presence.
“I left you once. I’ll never leave you again,” Krolia says when she meets Keith, and though he doesn’t know it at the time, she means it— and she stays. It’s the start of the establishment of a foundation and the kind of solid relationship Keith has never once had in his life, that’s going to change his life forever.
Because Keith is the product of the kind of emotional trauma and abandonment that you wouldn’t want to wish on your worst enemy, and despite his natural talent as a paladin, his drive, and his focus, it isn’t until he has a chance to reconnect with his mother and heal the holes and gaps he’s had in his life that he’s truly able to unlock the potential and confidence that has been buried within him until now.
AfterBuzz: If Keith had been in this episode, what would he have been?
Lauren: There was some discussion about this.
Joquim: Yea, we’ve discussed this.
Lauren: Yea and Christie Tseng, our character designer, came up with a barbarian, because he is very much like a berserker type. You know, the temper? And we were kind of on board.
Joaquim: Yea, letting that Galra side fly…
AfterBuzz: So would he have also named himself Keith because that’s what Shiro did?
Lauren: I really don’t know. I feel like Keith might have been one of those people who was just like, Thunderstorm Darkness. Like he would have gone for it, like the early days of your gamer tag. Just like ah, what’s the craziest thing.
Been a while since I have posted on here, sorry about that! School is coming up soon and I’ve been getting prepared for starting uni. Here’s some RWBY edits I made today, pretty happy with how they came out. :D

My very late contribution for Voltron season 6
There’s lot to say, everything in this season is just fantastic! I thank you all the Voltron crews and everyone involved. I’m really glad to have discovered such an amazing series!
Fenhawke recolor from 2015. I didn’t completely redo it so I’m not gonna consider it a progress example but I am still entertained by the difference in color treatment.
